Here's to 2019! Happy New Year!

Happy New year to all my lovely readers! I'm so excited for 2019, I already have a lot of very big things in store that are in motion and I'm both very excited but nervous at the same time.  I had a really good in 2018, I wouldn't say anything monumental happened in 2018 but for me, I felt like it was just a general feel-good year.

I had settled into my role as a mother and I also felt like I was back to myself again, for the mothers out there you know that feeling when you give birth and your world changes and somehow as the weeks and months go past everything becomes about the baby and you forget about self-care.  So I was happy to balance being both a good mum and taking care of myself last year.  I paid off a lot of debt, I made sure to go out more and had such a great summer of events.  I started two businesses that are still in the early stage (I guess you can say that is monumental, but I'm not rich yet haha).

Last year was what I describe a happy year, with mental health and self-care being talked about so much nowadays, I would take a happy year over anything else anytime.  I hope 2019 continues to be an even happier year and I hope all the seeds I planted in 2018 also come to fruition this year.

Autumn is finally amongst us but you know what we had a great run, we actually had a real summer.  For the first time in what feels like since my childhood we had real sun consistently! I'm going to try and embrace the colder months, you guys know I struggle to shoot in winter, but I have seen other bloggers say the same so I know I'm not alone.

So I wore this outfit yesterday, the weather was warm but there was still a breeze in the air, I sound like a novel lol I love these trousers so much, they actually came as a co-ord, the top is a bralet so of course it's too cold to wear it now, but I'm looking forward to rocking the full set on a sunny holiday.  But in the meantime the trousers are great all year round, they're so classy and do all the talking.

I don't think I have ever worn black on the blog, and I never rarely wear black in everyday life, because unlike most people I just don't feel good in black.  I feel an instant type of moodiness when I'm in a full black outfit it's really strange. I feel like I'm dressed for a funeral, yikes, but I think black just doesn't make me feel vibrant and happy.

Ok, I know I started with a bit of a downer but to turn it around I absolutely love this jumpsuit, so much so that I didn't even mind that it was black, I even paired it with a black handbag, like who am I??

This jumpsuit is so sophisticated, it cinches in the waist but allows you to breathe everywhere else. Of course, it's also a culottes jumpsuit, you know I love a culotte now since I got over the 'short girls do not wear culottes issue'!

Hey guys, I hope you are all well.  I feel like I haven't blogged for ages, but I have been very active on Instagram and have posted a lot of looks over there so make sure your following over on Instagram too.

I fell in love with this jumpsuit when I first saw it, It reminds me of a two piece that Zara have, I think it's actually the same print.  Zara is known for copying the runway but now Zara has gotten so big they have now become an inspiration to to other stores.

This jumpsuit is comfortable but fits so well and its perfect for a food baby! The print is so rich you don't really have to do much with heels and accessories.

Would you believe that these gorgeous palazzo trousers are from Forever 21!?  When I think of Forever 21 I think of clothes catered to teens, I just never really think to shop there.  I saw some cute sandals from another blogger that I really liked from Forver21, so I followed her link and browsed the store and I was so surprised at how many nice pieces they had.

I ended up buying quite a few items and everything looked even better in person.  I'm investing in more classic pieces, I think these trousers will definitely stick around in my wardrobe for years to come.
