Polka Dot Ruffle Skirt

Ruffle skirt -Pretty Little Thing
Heels - Primark (Similar)
Bag - Misspap
T-shirt - Boohoo

I just noticed that my last outfit also featured this cute j'adore top! I remember when I started blogging years and years ago one of my intentions was to show how to remix a clothing item and show how you can dress it up and down.  The aim was to show how you didn't need to spend much to be fashionable.  I'm feeling all nostalgic thinking about it, I think I managed to do a few post to begin with but I didn't keep it up.

But as you can see from this outfit I have dressed up the t-shirt a lot more compared to my last post.  This would make a cute dinner or bar outfit.  Polka dots and ruffles are very in right now, I'm really loving this cute girly skirt.

Which look in this t-shirt is your favourite?

Anniversary Outfit

Dress - Boohoo
Heels - Boohoo
Belt - Primark

Hey lovlies, sorry for the short break.  I have been super busy with meetings.  When you have a baby you go through many phases in the first year.  For me it has been, phase 1 - adjusting to a new baby and post labour body, phase 2 -establishing a new routine, phase 3 - routine established and operation body back!  I have been in phase 3 for quite a few months now, soaking in my time with Ava, enjoying being a new mum and having a break from the office.  Phase 4 has now began! making the transition back into work, learning how to juggle work with a baby and delving into the world of childcare, serious adulting!

I celebrated my second wedding anniversary in March, we decided to take our first family trip to a lovely cottage in Essex for 3 days.  It was so nice to get away from London.  I wanted to dress up for our anniversary dinner but still feel comfortable.  I always turn to red when I want to feel dressed up, so I thought this dress was perfect.  I think its quite a casual dress, so I added the belt to accentuate my waist and heels.  I have already worn the dress with trainers and it works well both ways.

Asos Tie Dress

Dress - Asos
Heels - Primark old

When I became pregnant I knew straight away I would be dressing for a growing bump, but for some reason it didn't cross my mind or maybe I just didn't think that far ahead that after birth I would need to dress for my new post pregnancy body, finding clothes to conceal my shrinking pouch and needing instant access for breast feeding.

I'm currently working on a breast feeding friendly wishlist and a postpartum one too for my new mums out there.  I'm loving dresses or even skirts that have a tie around the waist, perfect for covering the pouch! I took these photos 4 weeks postpartum as you can see you can barely see my pouch, but trust me it was still there!

Blue Leaves

Heels - Zara
Clutch - Primark (old)

I have been going to quite a few events lately, as the months start to get warmer I love to go out a lot more and any chance to get dressed up is even better.  I attended a wedding last week and this is what I wore.

I absolutely love this dress, its possibly my favorite right now, like if they had it in every colour I would shamelessly purchase them all.  I love show stopping dresses that aren't revealing.  The large blue leaf print gives me such a spring vibe. Don't think I need to say much about the heels, their amazing!! I cant see a link to the heels on Zara's website, but they are still in store.

I'm looking forward to the bank holiday weekend, I'm off to look around Shoreditch for the day and plan to spend the weekend with my family, I hope you all have a good weekend, and thanks for visiting my blog as always!

Ripped Jeans

Jeans - Topshop
Bag - H&M
Heels - Gift
Top - Primark

Hey Guys, I'm back!! I'm so excited to get back to blogging.  I have already been married a little over a month.  The wedding was everything I hoped for and more, it was truly the happiest day of my life.  After the wedding we left for our three week honeymoon in Thailand, it was amazing! I will be sharing more about Thailand  in another post.

It was 34 degrees everyday in Thailand, but it was a nice surprise to come back to sunny weather in the UK.  This is what I wore on the weekend, these Topshop jeans are amazing, they fit around your curves and the rips are perfectly placed.  I need the black version now!

Thanks for passing by and also for sticking by the blog even during my lack of blogging xx

Lace Top

Lace top - Missguided
Heels - Philip Armstrong
Trousers - Primark (similar)
Bag - Primark
Earrings - H&m

When it's cold outside do you still wear dresses with no tights when your invited to a wedding or party? two weeks ago I went to a birthday dinner and wore a short leather dress with no tights, it was freezing outside but because I literally paced from my house to my car and then from my car to the restaurant, I thought what the heck I can brace the cold!

But if there was no car or if I knew I would be outside longer than a quick pace to the car I guess the outfit above would be more realistic.  A gorgeous lace top with a tease of the arm and fitted trousers.
This lace top is more beautiful than I thought it would be, I now want to get the matching skirt!

Styled Scarf

Jumpsuit worn as trousers - sold out - Similar
Turtle neck - Missguided
Black Belt - Asos
Scarf - Primark

Happy New year guys! I hope you all had a lovely Christmas.  I spent Christmas in Germany with my aunt and uncle.  I got home just before new years eve and in true granny style I feel asleep just after the countdown!  But it felt nice waking up in the new year without a hangover.  I stuffed my face over the holidays and now looking at my chubby cheeks in these pictures, I have some work to do at the gym!

The weather was freezing on Sunday when I took these pictures, so I wanted to style my scarf as part of my outfit, I love how it turned out.  I also get compliments on this scarf all the time, it was a great buy from primani a couple of years ago and still going strong.

H&M Red Dress

Dress - H&M
Heels - Primark

Hey Guys, I hope your all well.  I have had a long break from the blog which was unplanned but needed.  With a house move, wedding to plan, full time job and other things going on, I really needed to take a step back.  Sometimes we allow life to get so busy your goals become more important than your health and sanity!  I needed to slow down and leave it in Gods hands.  But now I'm glad to be back!

Were only a week away from Christmas, so I thought why not wear the perfect Christmas party dress!  I'm wearing this to my work Christmas party on Wednesday.  Its such a gorgeous dress and also perfect for a wedding or dinner too.

Skirt - Primark
Jumper - Newlook

Hey guys, I hope you’re enjoying the day so far.  As fall approaches I’m starting to lean towards light jumpers, this cute cropped one from Newlook is perfect for the milder weather. I’m definitely not ready for the cold and having to do winter shopping, summer came and went way to quick!
